Seven Queens will be crowned on Valentines Day ranging from age 2 through adult, marking the event a family- friendly event. The event Preliminaries begins on Friday February 12 with a Final event on Sunday February 14. Contestants will be interviewed based on personal interview, fashion wear, evening wear, photogenic with optionals including Trabaje Tipico (cultural costume), fashionwear, and people’s choice, among many others. Winners are offered several promotional opportunities including the ability to travel throughout CT, representing their title and platform through the pageant with photoshoots, appearances in the community and exclusive events. They are also offered beautiful rhinestoned-lined satin sashes, the exquisite golden and rhinestone studded Belleza Signature Crown and several commemorative awards. Grand prize winners are eligible to compete for the International title in the Official International Belleza Latina Pageant 2011 that will be held Michigan this summer. About the CT Belleza Latina Pageant: The CT division of the Miss Belleza Latina Pageant is an organization run by Connecticut State Director, Marizol Vega, and its goal to develop role models, encourage education, achieve personal accomplishments and encourage positive family values. It allows Latinas to be judged on individual beauty, pride, and personal achievements. Victoria Espiritusanto, Miss Teen International Belleza Latina teen winner will be handing over her state crown Sunday to complete her International reign (a major accomplishment for the State of Connecticut). She won the International title, Miss Teen Belleza International 2010 after competing in Florida 2009. Other CT State winners who competed in the State and International competition in Florida in 2009 include Jeannette Rivera, who won 1st runner up in the Miss division; Jillian Lopez, 1st runner up in the Little Miss division and Yaritza Santiago, 2nd runner up in the Pre-teen division. The main event will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn, 291 Old Gate Lane, Milford, CT Sunday February 14th. Tickets cost $20.
